Come join the Earth Resource Foundation this Saturday, March 8, as they hold “Jeronimo Creek Restoration Day” in Mission Viejo, CA. They’re going to be weeding, planting and monitoring native plants as part of the restoration process.
What a great reason to get muddy and make a good cause! The kids will love it.
Where: Jeronimo Creek, in Mission Viejo
(on Jeronimo Road between Marguerite and Olympiad)
Time: 9 am to 1 pm (you are welcome to come anytime between 9 am and 1 pm)
Who’s invited: Everyone – children below high school should be accompanied by a parent.
What to Bring: Sunscreen, UV protective clothing, water, snacks, hat, wear layers and closed toe shoes. They will be providing gloves, hoes, and other gardening tools, (however, if you have your own – please bring them).
Where to Park: Park at Pavion Park, 24051 Pavion, Mission Viejo, CA, located off of Jeronimo. From Marguerite Pkwy turn east onto Jeronimo, go almost 2 miles and take a right into Pavion Park. Walk south along the trail to the restoration site.
