Wanna have fun and do something good for the environment???

This Saturday, 2/16, you can join members of Heal the Bay and other locals for one of their monthly Nothin’ But Sand Beach Cleanups.

This month they will be picking up liter from the sands of Venice Beach near the Venice Pier from 10am-Noon.

This is a great program that rotates around Los Angeles County’s dirtiest beaches throughout the year. The cleanups are held the third Saturday of each month, from 10:00am -12:00pm. Everyone is welcome to participate in the cleanups, but each participant must sign a liability waiver (available at the cleanup). There is no minimum age, but those under 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian.

Park where Washington dead-ends in a parking lot at Venice Pier. Parking is $1 at this lot if you tell them you are participating in the beach cleanup.
