The Environmental Working Group, (EWG), just published their new review of 482 beach and sport sunscreens and found that 3 out of 5 sunscreens offer inadequate protection from the sun or contain ingredients with significant safety concerns.
They found fewer than 100 products that offer good sun protection along with ingredients that present minimal health risks to users, AND that leading brands like Coppertone, Banana Boat and Neutrogena fared poorly.
Guess which sunscreen got high ratings, ranked #5 and was recommended above 477 others: Mexitan all natural sunscreen!
