We’re happy to announce the addition of a brand new product line to our store: Mexitan sunscreen, which was derived from a secret tanning formula used by the locals at Acapulco beaches and brought back to the US to be perfected and manufactured.

We’ve scoured the globe for a natural biodegradable sunscreen and we found it in Mexitan’s line of mineral sunblock which uses zinc oxide and titanium oxide to block the harmful UV rays of the sun.

In fact several of our staff just returned from a trip to Hawaii where they tested this sunscreen daily while surfing as well as tanning and they were shocked at how well it performed!

Unlike most mineral sunblocks which go on like a thick, white paste, Mexitan glides on silky smooth with just a slight hint of white from the zinc oxide and titanium oxide. Most users won’t even notice it, but our staffers actually liked seeing the slight white on their skin so they could tell it was protecting them even after hours in the water!

What we like almost as much as it’s powerful broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection is that it’s all natural, biodegradable and safer than traditional chemical sunscreens.

In fact this is one of the only sunscreens we found where we could identify every ingredient on the label: Deionized water, Sunflower Oil, Lecithin, Coconut Oil, Glycerine, Xanthan Gum, Green Tea Extract Jojoba Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, (Vitamin E), Retinyl Palmitate, (Vitamin A), Shea Butter, Eucalyptus Oil – pretty amazing these days!
