New Products Arriving!

It’s hard work but somebody has to do it…

One of our team members is in Hawaii for a couple of weeks in search of new products and is also doing some product testing - poor baby!

We’re happy to report that they’ve hooked us up with a new boardshorts vendor and in the coming weeks we’ll be adding a new line of mens board shorts, womens board shorts and for something totally new we’ll even be carrying kids board shorts!

Our lucky team member is also testing 2 new lines of sunblocks. We’re going to be selling a safer alternative to harmful chemical sunscreens: mineral sunblock.

Mineral sunblocks use titanium dioxide and zinc oxide to reflect the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. One of the products we’re testing is totally organic and biodegradable so it will be eco-park friendly for those of you going to reefs and other areas where the use of chemical sunscreens is prohibited due to the fact that the ingredients in commonly used sunscreens is killing the coral reefs of the world.

So far the results are pretty amazing with coverage lasting during several hours of surfing!

Between using our long sleeve rash guard shirts and testing out these new sunblocks our team member is reporting that they still look like a newly arrived tourist even after a solid week of surfing and sun exposure!
