We recently told you about the rare albino dolphin spotted off the coast of Southern California, now we found a story about a rare albino catfish caught by a guy up in New York!
According to The Times Herald Record, Dale Gillis of Middletown reeled in the rarely seen fish which was completely white with pink tinge around its edges. The albino catfish is a naturally occurring species that is more commonly found in home aquariums, but can also reproduce in lakes.
According to the story he couldn’t bring himself to eat it so he’s going to have it stuffed for a trophy!
Now here’s our shameless plug: if you’re out on the water fishing in the sun be sure to protect your skin with one of our Stay Dry/Kore Dry shirts. You’ll get continuous SPF 150+ protection without having to mess with sunscreen.
