Kelly Slater (USA) rang his third Bell by winning the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach for the 3rd time today.

Slater now has back-to-back wins in the first 2 opening events of the 2008 ASP World Tour securing his spot as #1 in the World.

Slater launched some huge air to earn a last minute score and beat Bede Durbidge (AUS) in the final. The 36 year old has claimed his 36th event win in a long and illustrious career.
