
Sofia Mulanovich - Roxy Pro Gold Coast Winner
COOLANGATTA, Australia - Sofia Mulanovich (PERU), 2004 ASP Womens World Champion and world runner-up last season, won the 2008 Roxy Pro Gold Coast defeating Samantha Cornish (AUS) in clean three foot waves at Snapper Rocks on Saturday, March 1.
The Roxy Pro Gold Coast is the opening event of the 2008 ASP Women’s World Tour season. Complete with major upsets and inspiring performances it was an exciting event for the hundreds of spectators on the beach and thousands watching online.
Mulanovich was in sensational form, posting the day’s highest heat total of a 17.34 out of a possible 20.
