Talk about hitting us when we’re down!!
United Airlines fell in line with Delta and Continental today when they announced they will be raising the fees they charge for checked bags. Starting January 14th they will be charging $25 for the first bag and $35 for the second bag – an increase of $5 per bag.
The newly increased baggage fees apply to passengers who purchase their tickets on or after January 14th for travel on or after January 21st.
